Garam Marsala (Wet Paste)

Spiced minced meat curry garnished with chopped parsley, served on a white plate.

This a paste version of garam marsla. Itis great for a variety of cooking.

  • 6 tsp coriander seeds
  • 3 tsp ground black cumin
  • 3 tsp cardamom pods
  • 1 tsp bay leaves
  • 4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 3 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Clean coffee grinder
  • Jar with air-tight lid
  • Place all spices in grinder.
  • Grind to a powder.
  • Add juices of lemon and lime to make paste.
  • Place in storage jar.
  • Will keep in freezer for about 6 months.
