Here is a nice twist to the simple margarita. Note the use of lemon instead of lime. I also find that a slice of fresh honeydew as a garnish makes for a perfect compliment to the drink.
Ready
1 oz of Midori liqueur (melon flavoured liqueur)
2 oz Tequila
1 ½ oz Fresh lemon juice
½ oz simple syrup (or to taste)
Slices of honeydew for garnish
Salt and extra lemon juice for rim
Cracked ice
Set
Magarita glass (12 oz)
Cocktail shaker
Go!
Place salt on shallow plate.
Wet rim of glass with extra lemon juice.
Invert glass into salt on plate and swirl to coat rim.
