Refreshing lemon drink with ice in a tall glass, garnished with lemon slices, shaker, and whole lemon on a kitchen counter.

Gin Fizz is a cousin to the Collins, the difference is that it is always shaken, not built.

Ready

  • 1 ¾ oz gin
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • dash gomme syrup
  • club soda

    • Set

  • glass: highball
  • shaker

    • Go!

  • Add gin, lemon juice, and gomme syrup with ice to shaker. Shake and strain into a highball glass and fill with Club Soda.

    • Recommendations

    Note: Adding egg white to shaker makes it a “Silver Fizz” and adding egg yolk makes it a “Golden Fizz”.
