Homemade Apple Sauce

Homemade applesauce in a white bowl with fresh apples and a saucepan in the background on a kitchen countertop.

I used to make this all the time for my daughters when they were infants. Now they are 7 and 4, and still love this applesauce which is all natural and nutritious. Just when your apples are starting to go soft, you can whip up this quick snack which is delicious on its own. Or you can add it to plain yogurt, or serve as a side with pork chops or potato latkes.
