Chipolte Honey-Lime Butter

Grilled corn on the cob with a side of spicy butter sauce and a basting brush on a wooden table.

This has to be one of my all time favorites for slathering on fresh corn.

  • ¼ cup butter, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons honey*
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly grated lime zest
  • ½ teaspoon minced chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Pastry brush
  • Combine all ingredients in bowl.
  • Stir to combine
  • For a different twist, substitute maple syrup for honey.
