Feta and Walnut Dip

Creamy hummus garnished with parsley and olive oil, served with pita bread and walnuts in a rustic kitchen setting.

This dip of salty, pungent feta pairs great with the flavor of walnuts. Use with vegetables, crackers, or Lebanese bread. This recipe makes about 2 cups.

  • ½ pound feta cheese
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 1 cup walnuts (meats only)
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 2 Tbsp minced parsley
  • Food Processor
  • Spatula
  • Bowl for serving
  • Drain feta.
  • Place drained feta and remaining ingredients in food processor and process until smooth (the nuts will make this somewhat grainy).
  • Let stand 1 hour before serving.
