Passion fruit tea

Hot passion fruit tea served in a white mug with sliced passion fruit and a glass teapot on a wooden table.

I was at the farmers’ market this past weekend chatting with one of the farmers. The passion fruits looked dried out as it is the end of the season, but it turns out they are still quite tasty. She then let on that the husks make for a delicious tea and thanks to its calming qualities is an excellent bedtime drink

  • 2 or 3 passion fruits
  • Hot water
  • Honey (optional)
  • Teapot
  • Boil some water.
  • Cut open your passion fruits and eat the sweet fruit.
  • Toss the husks into your teapot.
  • Pour in hot water and let seep for 5 minutes.
  • Pour and serve.

  • bedtime calming fruit tea
