Simple and sweet soy salmon recipe

Teriyaki-glazed salmon fillet garnished with sesame seeds, served on a bed of white rice in a bowl, with an extra fillet on a tray nearby.

Here’s a great recipe because it is so simple (It probably shouldn’t even count as a “recipe”). Yummy too.

  • Salmon steaks
  • Maple Syrup (any type)
  • Soy Sauce
  • Toasted seasame seeds (optional)
  • Rice – cooked separately
  • Bowl
  • Ziplcok bag
  • Baking pan
  • Sauce pan (optional
  • Make a marinade using equal parts of syrup and soy sauce.
  • Marinate Salmon at least 15 minutes in a ziploc bag, less than 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Bake uncovered, about 450°F until cooked through (about 5-10 minutes). Watch carefully.
  • If you want to get fancy, you can boil and reduce extra marinade until is becomes a glaze.
  • Sprinkle with toasted seasame seeds if you are serving to guests, otherwise, just dig in!
  • Serve with rice.

  • maple syrup salmon soy sauce
