The first time I laid eyes on this super charged blender all I could think was that it was over kill. Oh how wrong I was. Yes this powerhouse crushes ice with ease, and is perfect if you make lots of frozen drinks. Granted I don’t use it for the cocktails, as I like mine shaken. Instead I use my Vita-mix for blending soups like Moroccan chick pea and making creamy hummus. It also does yeoman’s duty in the kitchen picking up all kinds of tasks that used to fall to the food processor.
