Rimming a glass

Here’s a tip that will make you look and feel like a professional bartender while adding that extra burst of flavor to your drink.

To sugar a cocktail glass
  1. Pour some sugar into a small plate or saucer.
  2. Carefully rub the outside rim of a chilled cocktail glass with lemon.
  3. Holding the glass sideways, dab the glass in the sugar while slowly turning it. Continue until the entire rim has been sugared.
  4. Gently tap off excess sugar into the sink.

  2. Carefully rub the outside rim of a chilled cocktail glass with lime.
  3. Holding the glass sideways, dab the glass in the salt while slowly turning it. Continue until the entire rim has been salted.
  4. Gently tap off excess salt into the sink.

Finally add your drink and serve.
