Silicone mat

Silicone mats are excellent for baking. They can make any baking sheet non-stick and help distribute the heat evenly. Better yet, you don’t need to butter your pan and they are reusable.

When buying a silicone mat, look for one that has glass fibers woven into product. This creates a better product because the fibers hold some of the heat to aid in cooking. Silpat® is the brand that is the most popular.
