createPeanut oil

Are there any alternatives to peanut oil in a recipe such as Orange Chili Oil? I’d love to try this, but am allergic to nuts.

All you need is a high smoke point oil. Vegetable oil in addition to the above mentioned canola are too good examples. Sunflower and safflower have a slightly lower smoke point but are still good.

The flavor is not as intense but I am a big fan of canola oil which is adapted from rapeseed and should be allergy okay for someone who is allergic to nuts.
