Frozen Nuts?

Does anybody know if you can store pine nuts in the freezer. I went a little crazy at the farmers market today and bought more than I needed.

David, thanks for the update. I decided to make a load of the basil pesto that’s posted here and what is left seems to be holding up pretty well in the fridge. I’m sure it will last longer than my self control. That pesto is delicious!

I freeze my pesto in plastic icecube trays stored in freezer bags. That way I can use a few cubes in soups and sauces.

Nuts go bad pretty fast. Bung them in the freezer pronto. They should last for up to 6 months.
