With all the fantastic ice-cream recipes at GreatGrub, I have decided to buy a new ice-cream maker. Any suggestions for favoured ones and why they are worth having?

I bought an Lello Gelato Junior ice cream maker over five years ago and it is still going strong. It does a great job, the only downside is that it is heavy and bulky so be sure that you have a lot of room. The latest model is a bit lighter and bit smaller. See my review. You can’t go wrong provided you have the countertop space.
