Published in bartenders’ guides as early as 1880s. It basically is a whisky cocktail with the addition of vermouth.
Ready
- 1 ¾ oz Canadian Club whisky
- ⅔ oz sweet vermouth
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- Maraschino cherries
Set
- glass: cocktail
- mixing glass
- stirer
- strainer
Go
- Put ingredients into mixing glass and stir. Strain into glass and garnish with cherry.
