I just met the guys from Fox’s spices. If you are serious about cooking you just have to get your spices from a specialist and if you are in the UK, I doubt you can find better than Fox’s spices. They carry a huge and diverse range of products sourced from around the globe (I was initially attracted by the infeasibly large cinnamon sticks they had on display) and strive for quality and freshness.

You can see from their catalog they are passionate about what they do (if a little lacking in design skills). They are family run based in Warwickshire and, I would guess, do most of their business mail order. They don’t seem to have a website up at the moment, perhaps we can help them with that ;-)
