InstaRead Thermometer

It surprises me how many homes today still are without thermometers. I carry this little fellow with me wherever I go and often whip it out to save a roast.

The more expensive digital varieties work well too (I have one as a fixture in my own kitchen which also lets me know the real temperature of my erratic oven). But my InstaRead does exactly what the name implies for under $10.

Re: InstaRead Thermometer

I have this very same thermometer. I find that it is much more instant than many more expensive digital versions. I frequently reach past my more expensive brands to grab this trusty standby — especially when I have an expensive cut of meat that I want to cook just right.

Not only is the best thermometer for the money, this is the one I trust!
