This is probably one of the best books published this year. It is the ultimate present for Foodies. Heston Blumenthal is the British version of Ferran Adria. All dishes created are based from his imagination. He executes his imagination by sketching around the note pad. So, expect that this book will have a lot of arts and stories. Also, the nice thing about the book is the chapter of molecular gastronomy. Here, he explains what kitchen chemistry is really about. If you read “On food and cooking”, expect a bit more like a science textbook. The book weight about 12 LBS and it is 15”13”4”
