Oh the misery for my beautiful summer garden has run its course. All of the vegetables have been eaten and all of the herbs have been used to season. But now what? The days are more mild and the rains are about to arrive (I hope). Does anybody have recomendations for what to plant in October in Southern CA?

Alas and alack!
You have lots of choices..the real fun begins.
Plant, garlic, peas, snow peas, broccoli, cabbages, lettuces, onions, shallots, arugula, cilantro, fennel, brussell sprouts, spinach, chard, winter squash, sweetpeas for colour and fragrance in the vegetable garden…
Enough?!!
