just wondering, if I like a particular user’s recipes, is it possible to find those listed under the user’s profile?

That feature is coming very soon. In the meantime you can type the users name into the search box. It’s not ideal as the result will list not only everything the user has written, but also every time that person’s name is mentioned.
Rest assured our programmers are on the job and will have this new feature available in the very near future.
