Fluffy Duck

I have had some request for this cocktail. Granted, the name probably could use some re-vamping but your not going to forget this one. After you taste this cocktail, you’ll be plucking these drinks off the line like water off a duck’s back.
Ready
- 1 part advocaat* liqueur
- 1 part creme de cacao
- Lemon/lime soda (i.e., 7-up)
- Crushed ice
Set
- Margarita glass, chilled
- Stirrer
Go
- Fill chilled glass to about one quarter with crushed ice.
- Pour the creme de cacao over crushed ice.
- Pour in the advocaat
- Slowly fill with soda. Stir, and serve.
What you should know
This is a dutch liqueur, made from a blend of unpasteurised egg yolks, sugar, aromatic spirits, and grape brandy with a hint of vanilla.
You can also add a splash of cointreau. If you don’t like the fizz, replace soda with lemonade.
Okay- I have to admit that I only tried this cocktail because of it silly name and the fact that I had some advocaat in my liquor cabinet. But I love this drink — for it’s taste. This is really delicious. I’m heading out to get some more advocaat so i can serve this at my next cocktail party.
Thanks for this.
