David, What made you pair this chutney w/cheddar cheese?

In England, a quintessential lunch with be a Ploughman’s: cheddar cheese, a hunk of bread and a good pickle. I grew up with this.
I have always loved to pair cheddar’s (and other hard cheeses) with mouth-popping accompaniments. The stronger the cheese, the more spice and tang you can throw at it.
I highly recommend a thick slice of French bread, a good, strong English cheddar and this great tomato chutney as a delectable snack.
Our grape tomatoes are just about ready to pick. We will be certain to try this a sharp cheddar. I think my kids will love helping to make this. And maybe they will even try it without complaining.

This looks good and so simple too. I bet it tastes great with a strong, mature cheddar.
