Avocado dip

This is my mum’s recipe for guacamole. It’s not really like any other guacamole I’ve had, so I thought I would rename it.
Ready
- 2 ripe avocados
- Small piece of Spanish onion
- ¼ clove of garlic — you really don’t want too much
- Chili powder or chopped fresh chili, to taste
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise or 4 Tbsp sour cream
- Juice of ½ a lemon
- Good pinch of salt
Set
- Food processor
Go
- Mince the onion and garlic with the salt in the food processor.
- Add all the other ingredients and blitz until almost smooth
What you should know
As with any dish of raw ingredients, it is all in the quality of the ingredients — although, if your avocados aren’t quite perfect, this recipe is more tolerant than most guacamoles.
