Gin Fizz is a cousin to the Collins, the difference is that it is always shaken, not built.
- 1 ¾ oz gin
- Juice of half a lemon
- dash gomme syrup
- club soda
- glass: highball
- Add gin, lemon juice, and gomme syrup with ice to shaker. Shake and strain into a highball glass and fill with Club Soda.
What you should know
Note: Adding egg white to shaker makes it a “Silver Fizz” and adding egg yolk makes it a “Golden Fizz”.
