Yogurt Cake

A very yummy cake from the heart of South Africa.
Ready
Cake
- 3 eggs
- 1 ¼ cup caster sugar
- ¾ cup oil
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 ½ cup self rising flour
- ½ teas baking powder
- pinch salt
Icing
- 1 ½ cup icing sugar
- 2 tablespoons warm water
Set
- mixing bowl for cake
- ringpan
- testpin
- mixing bowl for icing
- spatula
Go
Cake
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Mix all ingredients well together, bake in greased ringpan for 50 min by 325°F or till testpen comes out clean.
Icing
- Add water drop by drop to get a thick but not to runny icing. Spread over cake when completely cool. Decorate with cherries or strawberries or what you fancy.
