Calvados Apples

This is a great side to serve over ice cream or spiced cakes such as gingerbread.
Ready
- 8 Medium apples
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp Calvados (apple brandy)
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- pinch of salt
Set
- Large Saute pan
- Dish for serving
Go
- Peel and core apples.
- Melt butter in sauté pan.
- Add sugar, calvados, lemon juice and salt.
- Add apples and cook, stirring occasionally, until apples are just soft.
- Remove from heat and serve.
