Between the Sheets

A great aperitif for any dining occasion this drink is a variation of the popular sidecar.

Ready

  • 1 oz brandy
  • 1 oz light rum
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice*
  • Ice
  • Lemon twist for garnish

Set

  • Champagne saucer (5 oz.)
  • Cocktail shaker with strainer

Go

  1. Pour brandy, rum, lemon juice, and Cointreau over ice in shaker.
  2. Cover and shake.
  3. Strain into glass.
  4. Garnish with lemon twist.

What you should know

  • you can replace with sweet and sour mix to taste (I still prefer the fresh lemon juice).
