Chocolate sauce

This is a very simple recipe that makes about 340ml (12 fl oz). You can use this hot or cold (it should keep for around a week in the refrigerator).
Ready
- 225g (8oz) good quality plain chocolate
- 40g (1oz) unsalted butted
- 4tsp cocoa powder
- 120ml (4 fl oz) milk
- 50ml (2 fl oz) double cream
Set
- double boiler
- small saucepan
Go
- Melt the chocolate, butter and cocoa powder in the double boiler, stirring occasionally.
- Heat the milk and cream over a low heat and the slowly add it to the melted chocolate. Stir until smooth.
